Cervical Cancer in the Rio Grande Valley
7m 18s
In the USA, women who are diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer often live in lower-resourced parts of the community.

For women residing in the Rio Grande Valley, there are many barriers preventing access to appropriate healthcare services, lack of transport being one of the biggest. But a mobile health van that has been providing low or no cost healthcare to the community since the 1980s, is now improving cervical cancer prevention efforts in the region too.
