The partnership between Surfing WA and Cancer Council's SunSmart has been a game changer for beach lovers in WA and beyond, teaching them how to stay protected from the sun whilst enjoying the surf.

Sally Blane, SunSmart Manager at Cancer Council WA, notes a visible change in people’s behaviour; proving that while surfing may seem challenging for sun safety, it ultimately can be done.

For surfers of all ages, and from grommies to seasoned pros- sun safety is slowly becoming second nature, so everyone can enjoy the waves without risking skin cancer.
